Swiss Federal Councilor Doris Leuthard will visit WORLDDIDAC Basel in the afternoon of October 31, 2008. Ms. Leuthard, who is the head of the Federal Department of Economic Affairs, will take a brief tour of the exhibition and will subsequently hold a speech about the special aspects of the Swiss educational system, in particular of vocational education and training. She will also elucidate Switzerland’s chances as an exporting country.
This closing of the current WORLDDIDAC in Basel will also be the prelude for the preparation of WORLDDIDAC Basel 2010. The focus of the show in 2010 will be placed on the worldwide interchange in the trade with education, resources, supply and demand.
