WORLDDIDAC Astana 2013

On 9 April 2013 in Astana started the First International Forum of Education and the second exhibition of technology for education and training «WORLDDIDAC Astana 2013".
According to the deputy head of the Department of Strategic Planning and Information Technology at the Ministry of Education and Science of Kazakhstan Akerke Abylaykhan, the forum was dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the international scholarship "Bolashak".

140 companies from 24 countries, among them also about 20 Kazakh companies, attended the  forum. Representatives of educational institutions got not only the opportunity to see the new technologies, but also to discuss their best possible practice in Kazakhstan.

Bolat Shayakhmetov, the Vice-Minister of Education and Science of Kazakhstan commented that Forum and exhibition created a  great educational platform where the organization of education, teachers and producers of new technologies could meet each other, establish contacts, have a dialogue and create necessary conditions for the modern technologies to be implemented  in the educational system of Kazakhstan as soon as possible.

The forum included seminars and workshops, trainings and open classes with leading educators and experts, as well as presentations of innovative training equipment of international and domestic companies, distance learning systems, technological solutions for optimization of learning process.
