The Worlddidac Quality Charter Declaration

The Worlddidac Quality Charter has been established by Worlddidac as an independent organization in accordance with the Quality Imperative of the Education for All initiative promoted by UNESCO, in accordance with the United Nations Decade of Education for Sustainable Development (2005-2014) and in conformity with the goals of the World Bank.
The signatories of this Charter share the conviction that excellent educational materials and other resources are indispensable to students and educators to achieve satisfactory and sustainable learning and teaching results. Therefore it is declared that:

1. Learners‘ Access to the Best Educational Materials

Learners worldwide regardless of age, gender and country of residence should be given access to the best educational materials and supporting tools available on the market.
 

2. Best Equipment for Teachers

Teacher or educators regardless of their educational institution should be trained and equipped with the best and most adequate educational materials to support, enhance or to complement their work.
 

3. A Choice for Governments

Governments and public and administrations should have a choice to procure and purchase from suppliers who are committed to improving education and training by providing products of indisputable quality and integrity.
 

4. Confidence in the Implementation of Projects

International and multilateral organizations with development projects in education and training should have the confidence that their private sector commercial partners provide the best products and the highest performance for the effective and timely implementation of their projects.
 

5. Funds Well Deployed

Investors, funders and all other stakeholders in education should have the certainty that their funds are well deployed to implement the best possible results with efficiency and sustainability.
 

6. Distribution Networks of Committed Companies

Manufactures of educational materials should be able to create distribution networks with partners who are equally committed to education by maintaining the integrity and value of the products to be disseminated.

Distributors and resellers of educational materials should have a choice to source their products from reliable manufacturers who are committed to quality, innovation, support and stability.

Quality is imperative in the selection of educational materials, teaching aids and other relevant resources because it guarantees the best learning results coupled with cost-effectiveness and continuous user support.
